They are often asked, "What is the story behind Red Ivy"? or "Who is the AKA and who is the Delta"?  Whether they represent pink or green or crimson and cream, there is one thing for certain, Patrice and LaShanda's bond as sisters-in-love supersedes colors and letters.

When Patrice and her husband Melvin decided to expand their Greek paraphernalia business to service women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, they did not have to look far for a business partner.  His sister LaShanda was the prefect fit.  Her love for fashion and all things "pretty" added to the unique offerings of Red Ivy Apparel, LLC.

When they are not busy attending events throughout the Southern region, Melvin, Patrice and LaShanda are hard at work in their respective Greek letter organizations.  Melvin is an active member of Epsilon Kappa Kappa Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated.  Patrice is an active member of Jackson (MS) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and LaShanda is an active member of Nu Sigma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
